What’s on at Roma’s Easter in the Country

Roma's Easter in the Country festival is a five-day celebration of all things country.

It is widely recognised as one of South West Queensland’s premier Easter events and brilliantly showcases the country lifestyle. The festival offers a range of activities for the thrill-seeker, the cultural buff, and for those that like to take things a little more leisurely. Some of our favourite festival events include:

Outback Tucker Under the Stars – Thursday Night 29 March

Hosted by Mat Golinski, everyone is invited to the Opening Dinner for Roma’s Easter in the Country in 2018. The opening will be held at the iconic Roma Saleyards (around the Bull Ring) on the outskirts of town. Enjoy the local produce and a relaxed atmosphere as you prepare for the biggest Easter weekend of your life!

Extreme Bulls – Friday Night 30 March

Held at Bassett Park Showgrounds, saddle up and prepare for our Bull Ride; one of the biggest in the country with great prizes up for grabs! The event is a Bucking Bull Futurity and a Classic so sit back and relax at the alcohol-free family night.

Roma’s Easter Pro Rodeo – Saturday Night 31 March

Held at Bassett Park Showgrounds don’t miss Roma’s Easter Pro Rodeo. See all the stars of the rodeo circuit in our very own Roma backyard!
