A range of advanced driver assistance safety features are now standard on all grades as a result of this upgrade to Sorento.

Autonomous emergency braking with forward collision alert, lane keeping assistant (an active system, instead of the lane departure warning used on the old model), and driver attention alert are all new.

Driver attention alert helps combat fatigued drivers by monitoring a number of inputs from the driver and vehicle, and sounds a warning and displays a graphic in the instrument cluster if it senses a lapse in driver concentration.

The GT-Line now also features a 360-degree camera system and an active dynamic bending full LED headlight system.
