Bristling with 253kW of power and 371Nm of torque (8kW and 8Nm up on the regular 370Z), the NISMO is the most powerful Z Car ever offered in Australia.
It is the second Nissan nameplate to receive the NISMO treatment following the arrival of the GT-R earlier this year.
The 3.7-litre, normally-aspirated V6 is identical to that of the standard 370Z, but gains its extra muscle through addition of an exclusive, H-configured exhaust system design and muffler tuning, along with ECM (Engine Control Module) calibration, which reduces back pressure by up to 30 percent.
But, there’s more … the front and rear suspension have been dynamically tuned with increased spring, dampening and stabiliser rates aimed at offering even better handling, while a rigid body structure, strut tower bar brace and performance dampers are pitched at helping control body vibration.
Braking is enhanced through NISMO sports brakes boasting 14-inch front and 13.8-inch rear vented rotors with four-piston front and two-piston rear aluminium calipers.
The 370Z NISMO comes dressed to thrill, with the addition of a fully-integrated body kit that not only adds to its aggressive look, but provides more front and rear downforce, Nissan says.
The exterior package includes NISMO unique front and rear fascia and side sills, NISMO rear spoiler, side mirrors, dual exhaust and engine cover, plus NISMO 19-inch forged alloy wheels by RAYS, and NISMO badging.
The interior also gets the NISMO treatment: Recaro black and red, Alcantara leather-accented front seats, sports steering wheel in the same materials, signature red interior stitching, NISMO tacho, paddle shifters (on the auto option) and a red highlighted push button start.
