Opened in late 2015, the Helensvale NightQuarter is the perfect destination for patrons of all ages.
These markets are rich with culture, music and delectable food and drink options, priced at low food market costs. The NightQuarter is always open from 4pm until 10pm every Friday and Saturday night.
There is plenty of access to free parking and the market only charges a three dollar entrance fee which covers security, cleaning and nightly entertainment. Any profits made on the night are donated to the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Home to approximately 120 specialty food and drink vendors, there is no doubt you will be able to find a meal suitable to your budget and taste buds. Take a trip around the world by tasting a wide variety of culture rich foods, each unique with their own flavours and presentation. Among this wide variety of vendors, even the smaller fussier eaters will find something they love.
For those who usually skip dessert, you won’t be sticking to that rule when you spend a night feasting at these food markets. From World Famous Funnel Cakes, ice cream cookie sandwiches, raw Snickers cheesecakes, crepes and much more. You will be wishing you ate dessert before dinner in the hope that you could fit more in.
The NightQuarter not only fulfils every foodie’s dream, but it also hosts a variety of music events and festivals.
The markets have hosted Bliss n Eso, Ministry of Sound, Blues on Broadbeach and regular Sunday Sessions. Some of these events are free, however, some do require separate ticket purchases.
The market also prides itself on being family friendly and hosts a number of themed nights to entertain the little ones. These themes have included Winter Wonderland, Halloween, Easter egg hunting and much more.
For those more interested in food, wine and beer; the NightQuarter often host Barbecue Masterclasses, Gin and Rum tastings, Oktoberfest, Craft Beer Appreciation Nights and much more.
Take a break from eating and drinking and explore the crafts and clothing stores located on the outer rim of the markets. The NightQuarter has a great space filled with a small number of niche stores.
There are approximately 300 designers and craftspeople on the waitlist to score a shipping container in this space. There is no doubt that what you are buying is quality and made with love.
Overall, the hardest decision you will have to make all night is deciding which stall to eat at first.
